Bisweilen nutzt die Künstlerin Musiktitel, deren Stimmung oder Texte, sowie auch Gedichte um diese in einem Bildwerk zu verarbeiten. Eine fast zwangsläufige Entwicklung, wie auch Ihre Weiterentwicklung der Malerei in Verbindung mit BodyART, Fotografie bis zu bewegten Bildern untermalt mit Musikstücken, die sie eigens dafür entwickelt.
Eine multimediale, alle Sinne erfassende Interaktion der Arbeitsweisen, welche sich auch wechselseitig inspirieren. Ursprünglich resultierend aus Ihrer vormaligen Arbeit für einen international tätigen Musikverlag und dessen vielfältigen, auch multimedialen Aufgaben.  

Die Idee zu diesem Bodypaint und Cartattoo von Christine Dumbsky war die Überlegung des Auftraggebers etwas passendes zur GTI-Neuwagenvorstellung von VW zu konzipieren. Der Wunsch des Kunden homogen zur Farbe und Form des Autos ein Cartattoo (mit wiederentfernbaren, dennoch haltbaren Farben), sowie auch ein Bodypainting mit einem Modell von der Künstlerin gestalten zu lassen, gab den letzten Impuls zur Umsetzung.  

Indem sich der Auftraggeber bewusst für die international bekannte Künstlerin Christine Dumbsky entschied und ihr die künstlerische Gestaltung beider Projektionsflächen anvertraute, konnte die Künstlerin ein fein abgestimmtes Gestaltungskonzept ausarbeiten und effektiv umsetzen.  

Fahrzeug und Modell verwandelten sich so vor den Augen des faszinierten Publikums und der Presse spannend in eine künstlerische Einheit.

An almost inevitable development. As also her development of painting in conjunction with bodyart, photography to moving pictures accompanied with music, specially written for this purpose.

Multimedia – covering all the senses – an interaction of practices which are also mutually inspiring. Originally as a result of her previous work for a internatial operating publishing company and its diverse and also multimedia tasks.

To this concept her instrumental musical work, should be used later as background music as its acoustic creates a certain mood and captures the complexity of the painting on canvas, on skin, the live and photo sequences to make it tangible. The intention was also that all components of the whole unit of this moving picture creations should be created all in all by the artist to ensure that the complete work will remain one unit .

The the final impulse to the implementation gave the client and it’s company philosophy, where the client selected and engaged the international established artist Christine Dumbsky.

Because of his decision and trust in the artists ability, he made it possible that Christine Dumbsky could prepare a painting-concept homogenous for both - car and model.

Fascinating to watch the transformation - live - before the eyes of the press and audience into an artistically Unity that enriched the presentation of the new car generation GTI of Volkswagen.
